Fishing Trips

You can join local fishermen on their long-tail boats and visit their secret fishing spots where big fish can be caught by rod. You can also have lunch on a tranquil and picturesque beach. Night fishing under the moonlight is a truly magical experience, popular with people of all ages.

Island Trip

The Koh Kam group of islands is located a 45 minute boat ride from Hat Praphat. The islands are an ideal destination for day tours, and the turquoise waters offer a diversions such as snorkeling, fishing, and swimming in serene bays. On land, visitors can picnic, beach comb, or simply relax under the shade of a tree.

In total, there are seven islands, the most interesting of which are:

  1. Bat Island (Koh Kang Kao) with a big cave that is a roost for numerous bat species.
  2. Japanese Island (Koh Yeepun) where the Japanese built a pearl farm during World War II
  3. Lighthouse Island (Koh Fai Wap) where families of dolphin are often sighted.
  4. Buffalo Island (Koh Kwai) was a narrow strip of beach connecting two rocks that was split in half by the tsunami. It is still one of the most beautiful islands in the area.
